My Life in Brownsburg

On the first day of kindergarten, I felt a bit anxious as it was a new school in a new town. We had relocated to Brownsburg in 2002, a year after my baby sister Claudia was born. At that time, I was around 3 years old, and my other sister Amy was 2. It had been approximately 2 1/2 years since we moved to Brownsburg, and now I was attending school for the first time ever. Sitting alone at my assigned seat, I had convinced myself not to make friends, assuming that no one would like me. However, a boy I didn't know sat next to me and struck up a conversation. "Hello!" "Uh.... Hi......" "What's your name?" "Um... Kylynn...." "Kylynn? That's a lovely name! I'm James. Nice to meet you!" "N-Nice to meet you too..." It was surprising because no one had ever pronounced my name correctly upon first meeting. But James did. Over the following weeks, James and I became close friends, playing together during recess and even nap time. Then, one day, a new student named Jonathan joined our class. During indoor recess, as he entered the classroom, I found myself unable to stop staring at him. "Are you going to keep staring at him, Kylynn?" "Huh? What?" I glanced at James, "Oh, uh, I was just... Sorry." "It's okay, Kylynn. But why are you staring at him?" "I'm not sure myself." While Jonathan and his mother conversed with Mrs. Thompson, Jonathan caught my eye, and I continued to gaze at him. When he approached me and James, my face flushed with embarrassment. "Are you alright, Kylynn? Your face is red." "Oh! Uh, yes, I-I'm fine. It's just that the new kid looked at me." Suddenly, Jonathan walked over to us and said, "Hello." "Uh hi...." "Can I play?" "Oh, um, sure." James, Jonathan, and I quickly became close friends, spending the year playing together until we had to bid farewell.

.

Years after kindergarten, we all went our separate ways. James and I reconnected in 6th grade at East Middle School. However, in 7th grade, I had to switch to West Middle School, where I found myself in a new environment once again, needing to make new friends. When I walked into my Read 180 class, I noticed a familiar face that I couldn't quite place. The teacher eventually asked me why I was staring at Johnathon. Surprised, I exclaimed, "Johnathon!?" He looked up at me, puzzled, and said my name, leading to an emotional reunion. After catching up, I confided in him about my dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher, to which he encouraged and supported me. We reminisced about our past experiences, including a talent show performance and my hesitation to sing in front of others due to a past crush. Johnathon convinced me to sing for him, and despite my initial reluctance, I mustered the courage to perform a heartfelt rendition of "What Hurts the Most" by Cascada. The reaction from our classmates was overwhelmingly positive, with Johnathon expressing admiration for my talent and urging me not to hide it any longer. In a surprising turn of events, Johnathon confessed his feelings for me, leading to a spontaneous kiss that caught me off guard. Despite the unexpected gesture, it marked the beginning of our romantic relationship, bringing joy and laughter back into my life after a long time. It has been nearly two years since Jonathan, and I began our relationship. We are now freshmen in high school, and everything is going well. However, there was a scary incident where I was almost assaulted by an older guy, but Jonathan intervened, and the guy ended up in jail due to being over eighteen. "Are you okay, Kylynn?" "Yes, I'm fine, he didn't harm me." "That's a relief." He kissed me. Later in my Biology class, I noticed James sitting in the back row. I realized I was supposed to sit next to him, so I approached him. "James?" He looked up, surprised. "Kylynn!?" "Yes." "Oh!" He hugged me. "It's been so long! How have you been?" "I'm doing well! And you?" "I'm good." "Do you have a girlfriend yet, James?" "No. Speaking of relationships, how are you and Jonathan?" "We're great! Look!" I showed him the promise ring on my left hand. "Is that what I think it is!?" "It's a promise ring!" "Oh, I thought it was an engagement ring." "Haha, no, we're too young to get married." "Maybe you could get engaged in high school and marry after college." "No, perhaps later in high school but not now." After school, I was on my way to meet Jonathan but bumped into James. "Hey, James." "Hey, are you going to meet up with Jonathan?" "Yes." "That's good, I'm meeting my mom." "Your mom?" "Yes, she works here." "Oh, I didn't know that, that's cool." "Yep. You really love Jonathan, don't you?" "Yes, I can't help falling in love." (Lyrics from 'Can't Help Falling in Love' start playing) We laughed, "Wow, Kylynn, I thought you weren't going to sing in public anymore?" "I know, but Jonathan helped me overcome my fear so now I can sing in front of people..." Suddenly, I saw something I wish I hadn't seen. "Kylynn, why did you stop?" He gasped as we both witnessed Jonathan kissing someone else. I started crying, threw my ring on the ground, and ran away. "Kylynn, wait!" Jonathan looked up, "Oh no..." "Are you happy now, Jonathan!?" James chased after me and later found me crying on a swing at Brown Elementary park. "Kylynn?" (Lyrics from 'I'll Never Fall in Love Again' begin) "What do you get when you fall in love? A guy with a pin to burst your bubble. That's what you get for all your trouble. I'll never fall in love again. What do you get when you kiss a guy? You get enough germs to catch a fever. Then, he'll love and leave you. I'll never fall in love again. Don't tell me what it's all about, I've been there and I'm glad I'm out. Out of those chains that bind you, that's why I'm here to remind you. What do you get when you give your heart? You get it all broken up and battered. That's what you get, a heart in shatters. I'll never fall in love again!"

Two years later, I am now a junior in high school, still feeling heartbroken. I have started wearing black, and it appears that there is another person going through a similar heartbreak as he is also dressed in black. We exchange greetings, and I decide to sit down with him. Despite everything, I plan to remain friends with James because he has always supported me, even during the Johnathon situation. We chat about our day and a class we share. Later, in Algebra 2 class, we notice Johnathon is there, causing some discomfort. We try to talk to another student who seems to have gone through a similar experience, but he feels bothered and we leave him be. There is a sudden outburst from Johnathon, followed by an unexpected singing performance from Dianna. We are taken aback by the situation and Jack leaves for lunch. Dianna tries to playfully nickname the other student, Christopher, but he insists on being called by his full name.

Our lunch period was B lunch, so we headed to the cafeteria. It was Crispitos day, and I was excited because I love them. "Kylynn, do you think we should ask Christopher if he wants some company?" James suggested. "I'm not sure, James, he seems like he wants to be alone," I replied. "Let's just ask him, it won't hurt," James insisted. We approached Christopher's table, and he let out a groan. "Can't I have a peaceful day here?" he muttered. "Sorry, but James wanted to check if you'd like some company," I explained. Christopher seemed surprised, "No one has spoken to me all year because I'm a Christian, and no one likes me." "What's wrong with being a Christian?" I asked. "I don't know," Christopher replied. "Well, I used to be a Christian," I revealed. "You were?" Christopher inquired. "Yes, but that was before the Johnathon incident," I explained. "What Johnathon incident?" Christopher asked. "I was naive to think that someone like him would be interested in me," I admitted. "Someone like him?" Christopher questioned. "He's a football player," I clarified. "Oh... Well, would you guys like to join me?" Christopher invited. "Sure, if you're okay with it," I responded. "I'm fine with it," James added. "Great, let's sit down together, Kylynn," Christopher suggested. "Okay," I agreed. "Or maybe you'd like to sit with me?" Suddenly, we noticed Johnathon standing nearby. Johnathon begins singing a song from Stange Magic titled "C'mon, Marianne. /Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" and it starts with the lyrics: "Whoa-ho-ho here I am," "Johnathon!?" "On my knees again" "James!?" "I'll do anything, just to make it right" "I'm so on to that hair thing." "Say you'll understand" "Never!" "Oh, I know you can. Come on, Kylynn (come on, Kylynn)." "You cheated on me, remember?" "You threw my thousand-dollar ring on the ground, remember?" "No matter what people say (people say) It didn't happen that way (happen that way) She was a passing fling (passing fling) And not a permanent thing (permanent thing) Say you'll understand (understand) Oh, I know you can (know you can) Come on, Kylynn, come on, Kylynn, come on, Kylynn. Say you can understand, my Kylynn (Kylynn, Kylynn, Kylynn)." "Well now your big green eyes (big green eyes) Are all full of tears (full of tears) From the bitterness (bitterness) Of my cheating years (of my cheating years) So I hang my head (hang my head) Wish that I was dead (I was dead), "I can help with that." Come on, Kylynn, come on, Kylynn, come on, Kylynn. Say you can understand, my Kylynn (Kylynn, Kylynn, Kylynn)." "I groan, "I'm not your anything!" "Hey, one little mistake." "Little!? You've got a lot of nerve walking in here!" As I perform the song "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," the lyrics convey a message of resilience and empowerment. They talk about overcoming challenges and becoming stronger as a result. The protagonist refuses to be defeated by setbacks and stands tall in the face of adversity. The lyrics also touch on themes of independence and self-reliance, emphasizing the idea that one can emerge stronger from difficult situations. The narrative includes interactions with others who may have underestimated the protagonist's strength, only to be proven wrong in the end. Overall, the song celebrates inner strength and the ability to bounce back from tough times, ultimately emerging as a stronger individual.

It is now February of my junior year, and Christopher and I have developed a close friendship. "Would you like to accompany me to my church tonight, Ashleigh?" "Oh, certainly." "Great." Later that evening, Christopher picked me up for church, and we attended a service at Lighthouse Assembly of God. There, I was introduced to the Pastor and the youth class teacher named Paris. Everything felt unfamiliar because I had recently left my previous church, Charity Baptist Church, due to changes I did not agree with, and I felt disconnected from God. Perhaps this new church could provide the connection I was seeking, but little did I know, it was a Pentecostal church where worship involved raising hands and a live band. "This is quite a change from my former church," I pondered. After a few songs, we joined the youth in a separate room. "We have a new visitor today, brought by Christopher. Why don't you introduce yourself, dear?" "Um, okay... My name is Ashleigh, and I'm Christopher's classmate." "Christopher mentioned that you went through a similar experience as he did?" "Yes, my ex cheated on me and gave me a promise ring. So much for keeping your promise, jerk." Everyone glanced at me, and I apologized. "It's okay, dear. We will pray for you." "Thank you." Following the service, Christopher treated me to dinner and then dropped me off at home. "Thank you for inviting me, Christopher." "You're welcome. Would you like to join again on Sunday?" "Certainly, what time is Sunday school?" "It starts at 8:45." "That's early!" "Yes, are you still interested in coming?" "Yes, I would love to." "Alright, see you at school tomorrow." "Okay, bye." I continued attending church in the subsequent weeks and rediscovered my passion for it, all thanks to Christopher for introducing me.

As a seventeen-year-old high school senior, things are going well for me. I have been attending church regularly, transitioning from wearing mostly black to more colorful outfits, which makes me feel great. However, I still find myself engaging in activities that I know I shouldn't, and it bothers me. At the homecoming event, I wore a blue dress reminiscent of Elsa from Frozen, which I bought from JCPenney. Claudette surprised us with blue flowers, matching almost all of our outfits perfectly, even though she didn't know our chosen color. Despite feeling uneasy during the couple pictures, I went along with it. Christopher and I were paired for the photos, including one with his arm around me and another where the girls were pinning flowers on the boys. The homecoming was enjoyable, but a few days later, something incredible happened. Christopher asked me to go for a walk on the trails, and during our conversation, he reassured me about my struggles with church, saying it's normal and that I will overcome them. His words stirred a new feeling in my stomach, unlike anything I had experienced before. (The scene from Stange Magic unfolds) “You're stirring up memories in my mind, creating ripples across my existence, oh no, oh no. I possess a peculiar magic, oh, what a peculiar magic, it's a peculiar magic. I have a peculiar magic.” Christopher chimes in, “You're drifting gently through the sunlight (Gently through the sun) of a place I've always known. You soar (You soar) so high (So high). I have a (Both) peculiar magic, oh, what a peculiar magic, it's a peculiar magic. I have a peculiar magic. Oh, I'm (Oh, I’m) never going to be the same again now that I've witnessed how it must end. Sweet dreams, sweet dreams. I have a peculiar magic, oh, what a peculiar magic, it's a peculiar magic. I have a peculiar magic. It's magic. I have a peculiar magic, oh, what a peculiar magic, it's a peculiar magic. I have a peculiar magic. It's magic. (Christopher) It’s magic. (Me) It’s magic.” We gaze at each other, “Kylynn?” “Yes?” “This is the first time in forever that I felt like this.” “Yeah, me too.” We were about to kiss when, “Kylynn!?” I glance over and see Johnathon standing there, leaving me bewildered as to why he's there since I never informed him of my whereabouts, “You deceived me!” Christopher shouted, “What!? I didn’t even know he was coming; I never told him where I was!” Christopher storms off in anger, “Wait!” I implored, “I won’t be a fool again!” “I didn’t know!” “You shouldn't follow me, Kylynn, I wouldn't want you to get hurt.” “B-But” He walks away, “What do you think you're doing, Johnathon!? Why are you here!?” “Because there's something I need to tell you.” “Tell me what exactly!?” “That you're going to be with me… Forever!” He pushes me onto the tracks, “What are you doing!?” “You will be with me or you'll be run over!” “What?! No!!!” “Huh?” Christopher turns around and sees me on the tracks, he notices the approaching train, rushes over, shoves Johnathon aside, and pulls me off the tracks, “Go!” “What!? No, I can't leave you here!” “GO NOW!!” The train arrives, he doesn't move, “CHRISTOPHER NO!!!” The train hits him, “CHRISTOPHER!!!!” I collapse, his grandmother murmurs behind me, “My grandson…” I weep silently, then James comes to console me, “I'm so sorry, Kylynn…” As we walk away, the crowd gasps, I glance over and witness Christopher crawling off the tracks, “My dear grandson!” His grandmother rushes to him, embracing him as he winces in pain, he looks at me, smiles, but suddenly Johnathon jumps out of nowhere and splashes a love potion on my face. I scream, “Kylynn!” James shouts. “Grr!” “Christopher!” unexpectedly, my mother intervenes and says, “Patience.” “Here we go,” Johnathon announces, “Sugar Pie. Honey Bunch!” I sing, “What?” Christopher questions. “Kylynn?” my sister says, “You know that I love you.” “That’s what I want to hear.” Johnathon says, twirling his hair, “I can’t help myself.” “Of course you can’t, honey.” “I love…” I punch him, “Whoa…” Christopher gasps. Everyone cheers, “Oh, it didn't work!” my mother remarks. Christopher sighs, “I wonder why.” I approach Christopher, “How are you still alive after that!?” “I honestly don't know; I saw the gates of Heaven, but God told me I wasn't ready yet, so he sent me back.” “Oh, okay. Well, bye!! Whoa! I didn't mean to sound so cute.” “Cute actually suits you… You know?” “Yes.” “You can come over to my house whenever you like.” “Oh, okay…” Christopher gasps, “Please don't sing!” Diana appears out of nowhere and says, “You know, Christopher.” “Chrisy.” “It's never going to work between us.” “Well, I, uh…” “Shh! It's not you, it's me.” “No problem.” “Yeah, no, no problem at all!” I say, “Kylynn? A word?” “I smell romance,” his grandmother remarks, he chuckles a bit, Diana pulls me aside and expresses her frustration, saying, "I dislike how you always observe, hover, and worry." Confused, I respond, "I'm sorry?" She then adds, "However, I appreciate that you made the effort to come to this park to find something, allowing me to give you a lecture." Perplexed, I ask, "What?" She begins to sing a song, "I know, something, about love You've got to want it bad If that guy's got into your blood Go out and get him If you want him to be The very part of you That makes you Wanna breath Here's the thing to do: Tell him, that You're never gonna leave him Tell him, that You're always going to love him Tell him (Tell him) Tell him.” Christopher's grandmother intervenes and urges him to express his feelings to someone immediately, as everyone around them sings about love and the importance of showing it. Christopher nervously starts to speak, "...right now!" After a moment of hesitation, he gathers his courage and exclaims, "Now!" His grandmother advises him to take deep breaths to calm down. Christopher then starts to sing a familiar tune, "Wise men say only fools rush in, but I can't help falling in love." As I approach him, he seems relieved, and we share a moment together, swaying to the music, until our lips meet in a passionate kiss, surrounded by cheering onlookers. Today is my birthday and I'm turning 18! Christopher and I are heading to California and Reno, Nevada to visit my family for the first time. I'm thrilled for Christopher to meet my family and vice versa. "I can't wait for you to meet my family, Christopher. You'll love them," I said excitedly. Christopher expressed some nerves about meeting my dad, but I reassured him that my dad already accepted him because he brought light back into my life. After a quick kiss, we headed to the airport where Christopher's grandfather dropped us off. Boarding the plane, we set off to California since driving from Indiana would take days. Upon arriving in Sacramento, California, Christopher expressed his excitement and slight worry about meeting my father. I assured him that my dad had already accepted him for taking care of me. As we waited for my dad to pick us up at the airport, we retrieved our bags from the baggage claim. "Where is your father?" "He mentioned he'll be here soon; he just needs to navigate through the afternoon traffic." "Oh, okay." About ten minutes later, my dad arrives in his new car. "There he is!" I exclaimed. Dad steps out of the car and I rush towards him, "Dad!" "Hey sweetie, did you have a nice flight?" "Yep! Oh, Dad, this is Christopher; Christopher, meet my dad." "Nice to meet you, sir." "What's with the 'sir'? Just call me Edward." "Okay." "Come on, let's go!" I said impatiently. "Alright sweetie, coming Christopher?" "Yeah, I'm coming." We load our bags into the trunk and head to my dad's new house. The journey takes about 45 minutes, which is shorter than before. "Dad, where are we going? This doesn't look anything like Florin." "That's because I no longer live in that house. I moved out closer to the city and near Nabi." "Yay! Do Souixsie and Screech still live with us?" "No, I asked them to leave because I saw how unhappy they made you." "You did this for me?" "Yes." "Aww, thanks, dad!" "You're welcome, sweetie. Happy birthday." "Thanks!" We arrive at an upscale neighborhood and pull up to a mansion-like house. "Is this your house, daddy?" "Yes, it's the one we were planning to move into but didn't get the chance." "Really!?" I scream and rush out of the car. I try to enter the house, but the door is locked. "Hold on, sweetie, let me get the door." They both chuckle, grab the bags from the trunk, and walk towards the door. Dad unlocks it, and as soon as he opens it, I dash inside. "Wow, this place is huge!" I head to the backyard, where I spot a pool. Suddenly, "Surprise!" I gasp, "What's happening!? What is all this!?" "This is for you, Kylynn. Happy Birthday!" "Thanks, dad!" I laugh and run to my friends, "Hey guys!" "Hey, Kylynn, happy birthday," said Christopher. "Thanks, Christopher. I'm glad you're here." I gasp, "Nabi!" "Hey, Kylynn, happy birthday!" "Thanks!" I mingle with everyone, put on my bathing suit, and dive into the pool. "This is amazing!" "Kylynn!" my dad calls me. "Yes, dad?" "Come here, we all have a present for you to use in the pool!" "Ooh, what is it!?" I get out of the pool and rush to receive my gift. Before I open it, everyone plugs their ears. I'm puzzled but proceed to unwrap the present. I scream as I realize why they had earplugs – "Oh my gosh, it's a mermaid tail! And it's rainbow!" "Yes, it's from all of us, but your boyfriend bought it." "Really?" I look at Christopher. "Yes, because I'd do anything for you, Kylynn, even if it's something I don't particularly like. But if it makes you happy, I don't mind." "Oh, thank you, Christopher!" I give him a big kiss, "I love you!" "I love you too, Kylynn." I rush back to the pool, put on the tail, and it fits perfectly. I jump into the shallow end to practice swimming with my new tail. Initially challenging, I eventually get the hang of it. "Yay! I'm a mermaid!" Everyone joins in the pool, pretending I'm a real mermaid. Suddenly, I feel something strange around my legs; I can't feel them anymore. I sit on the steps and touch my tail, which feels slimy and scaly. I scream, "Kylynn, what's wrong?" "My tail is real!" "What!?" They gather around, feeling my tail. "Oh my gosh, how did this happen!?" Christopher asks. "I don't know, but I have a feeling. Claudia, pass me my notebook." Claudia hands me the notebook, and I flip through to a story I wrote. I read aloud, "I put on my new tail and as soon as I started swimming, I couldn't feel my legs, and my tail turned real." "And my tail in this story was a rainbow tail." "That's really strange. How are you experiencing what you write in your stories?" Claudia asks. "I honestly don't know; it's bizarre." Suddenly, a bright light emerges from the water, revealing a figure. "What is that?" Claudia asks. "Boku wa Kamida (I am God)." "Kylynn, can you translate what he's saying?" "Don't be rude. He said he is God." "What!?" "Yes, I'm sorry, God, but could you speak English, so they understand?" "Of course." "Thank you. What did you want, God?" "I wanted to explain why your tail is real. It's because you are a Rainbow Mermaid Princess too." "What do you mean, too?" "You've been writing about being a princess of Brownsburg, right?" "Yes, why?" "They are all true." "What!?" "That's why you had such vivid imagination. I gave it to you to realize you are a Rainbow Princess with some of my powers, and the one I've saved for you has my powers too." "You mean the one you want me to marry?" "Yes, and that's Christopher." "Huh?" Christopher and I say in unison. "I have some of your powers too?" "Yes, now you both must combine your powers to protect everyone from the dark world." "So, my grandmother will attack us soon?" "Yes." "By combining our powers, do you mean we have to marry each other?" "Yes, Kylynn, you must marry as soon as possible because she will arrive soon." "When do you want us to marry?" Christopher asks. "I want you to marry in a few days." "A few days? That's such short notice," I say. "I understand, but I know the kind of wedding you want, and it takes about two days for someone to make a wedding dress that fits you." "Oh, okay."

Two days later, the wedding day arrived. We had our wedding back home in Indiana "Are you ready, Kylynn?" " I'm ready, but I'm a bit nervous. We're still in school, I'm only 18, and I'm getting married." "Yes, but God instructed you to marry now so you can receive your power." "That's true, and I won't disobey Him." "That's my girl," she said, giving me a kiss on the cheek. A few minutes later, the wedding ceremony began. As "Here Comes the Bride" played, I walked down the aisle and saw Christopher waiting for me at the altar, smiling. The pastor started speaking, "Today, we gather to celebrate the union of Kylynn and Christopher. Kylynn, do you take Christopher to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" "I do." "And Christopher, do you take Kylynn to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" "I do," Christopher replied. The pastor chuckled, "May we have the rings, please?" We exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife. Christopher kissed me as everyone cheered. After the reception, we danced to my favorite song, 'A Disney Mashup by Scott and Ryceejo called So Close (Enchanted) and Perfect. The wedding was wonderful. As we were about to leave, I threw the bouquet, which landed in my mom's hands. "Ha-ha! Mom, you better start planning a wedding!" "You're crazy, get out of here!" "I love you, Mom!" "I love you too." We got in the car and drove to our honeymoon destination.

A few hours later, we reached California and stayed with my dad for one night before heading to another destination, which Christopher mentioned was a surprise. I greeted my dad enthusiastically and we caught up on the car ride. After our chat, we grabbed our bags and headed to my dad's house. The next morning, while preparing breakfast, I was interrupted by a familiar voice - my dad's new wife, Nabi. Following my parents' divorce and my dad's remarriage, Nabi and I discussed family matters. They had adopted a five-year-old girl named Aurora Rose Willits, who was currently away at a friend's house. Later, we played a prank on our husbands with puppies, sharing a good laugh together. As we were about to leave, Aurora's absence raised concern, but she was soon found in a dangerous situation with Mary, my grandmother. After a tense moment, Christopher heroically saved Aurora, but tragedy struck when he was unexpectedly attacked and injured. Amidst the chaos, family secrets were revealed, leading to a powerful moment of redemption and healing, ultimately bringing us all closer together.

Following our return from our honeymoon in Tokyo, Japan, Christopher and I shared with everyone that we had a surprise in store. Upon arriving at church that Wednesday evening, the Pastor graciously allowed us to reveal our surprise. "As you all may recall, we mentioned a surprise, so I'll pass it over to my wife, Ashleigh," I said. "Thank you, dear. Indeed, we have an incredible surprise to share. I will now read a verse from the Bible, 1 Samuel 1:27 from the King James Version: 'For this child I prayed, and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him.'" The room erupted in cheers after the reading.

March 25th arrives, marking my child's due date nine months later. I express my fear to Christopher about my ability to raise a child, despite being comfortable babysitting. He reassures me, holding my hand, that I will excel as a mother. Tears welling up, I thank him before being interrupted by a sudden pain. Panicked, Christopher asks what is wrong, and I realize that the baby is on its way. Quickly, he helps me gather our things and rushes me to the hospital. After what felt like an eternity, we joyfully welcome our baby girl, Sophianna Anise Willits-Leohr, into the world.

Years later, its Sophianna's 16th birthday, and I'm pregnant with our second child. "I can't believe you're already 16, sweetie, how time flies!" exclaimed Christopher. "Don't forget that my son is also 16," Eden interjected. "Yes, I know," Christopher replied sarcastically. "Alright, you two, enough. Let's just celebrate our children's birthday," I said assertively. Despite being in high school, they are not dating. Later that night, they both had separate slumber parties in the castle. "So, Sophianna?" "Yes, Rachel?" "Do you like John?" "W-What!?" Sophianna blushed. "Oh, she does!" Maddie exclaimed. "N-No, I don't!" "You do! You're blushing a lot!" "Ah! I am!?" "Ooh! Anna's got a crush! Anna's got a—" Sophianna interrupted Maddie by placing her hand over her mouth. "Please, for the love of God, stop!" "What? Just tell us if you have a crush on John, right?" Maddie inquired. "Y-Yes, but..." "But what?" "How do I know if he really likes me?" "Oh, seriously? Do you really not see it? Love will always find a way!" Sophianna began singing "Love Will Find a Way." “In a perfect world, one we’ve never known. We would never need to face the world alone. They can have their world; we’ll create our own. I may not be brave or strong or smart. But somewhere in my secret heart I know love will find a way. Anywhere I go I’m home. If you are there beside me like dark turning into day somehow, we’ll come through now that I’ve found you. Love will find a way.” "John, do you have feelings for Sophianna?" John was taken aback by his cousin's question while he was drinking something. "What!?" "You two have been best friends since birth, and now you're both sixteen. Why don't you ask her out?" "I don't think she would be interested in someone like me. Just look at me! I guess you could say I'm too scared," John replied before starting to sing. “I was so afraid now I realize love is never wrong and so it never dies. There’s a perfect world shining in your eyes.” They both sing together, “And if only they could feel it too the happiness, I feel with you they know, Love will find a way anywhere we go, we’re home. If we are there together like dark turning into day somehow, we’ll come through now that I’ve found you love will find a way.” Instrumental. Both, “I know” John, “Love will find a way!” Sophianna, “Oh yeah” Both, “Anywhere we go!” Sophianna, “I’m home!” John, “I’m home!” Sophianna, “Right here!” John, “If we are there together!” Both, “Like dark turning into day somehow, we’ll come through. Now that I’ve found you. Love will find a way. I know love will find a way. I know… Love. Will. Find. A… Way.” Sophianna, “A way” John, “Ooh a way…” Upon realizing their mutual love, they were unaware that their powers had been awakened, bringing them together in the same room. Their guests were surprised by the sudden turn of events. "Huh?" "What's wrong, honey?" Christopher inquired, sensing something unusual. Confused, I responded, "I felt a strange power." "What do you mean?" Christopher pressed. "It's as if someone's power has been... awakened," I gasped. "What!?" "Sophianna and John's powers have been fully awakened!" I exclaimed, rushing towards my daughter. As I reached them, all the teenagers were gathered in the room, prompting Christopher to approach and question their actions. "Hey, what's going on here? You should all be asleep by now," he scolded. Upon noticing Sophianna and John holding hands, he became upset. "What exactly is happening here? Why are you two holding hands!?" "Daddy, John and I have strong feelings for each other and we've decided to start dating from today," Sophianna explained. "Dating!? OH NO, THERE WILL BE NO DATING UNDER THIS ROOF, YOUNG LADY!!! LET GO OF HIS HAND NOW!!!" "Christopher, please calm down. Sophianna is old enough to date, especially if it's with John. We've known Eden for a long time, it's fine. Please, relax," I intervened. "CALM DOWN!? I CLEARLY SAID SHE COULD DATE WHEN SHE'S AN ADULT!!!" "She's sixteen, dear. They won't do anything inappropriate," I reassured. "THEY ARE TOO YOUNG!!! NO DATING, AND THAT'S FINAL!!!" Enraged, Christopher set himself on fire, prompting me to douse him with a bucket of water. "Ah!! Where did you get that!?" he exclaimed. "Someone has to be prepared for your outbursts. They are almost adults, honey. We started dating in junior year, and they are almost juniors. Please, stop overreacting," I pleaded. After a moment of contemplation, Christopher relented. "I suppose you're right, Kylynn. I'm sorry. I apologize, Sophianna. You both can date, but please be cautious, okay?" "Yes, thank you, Daddy!" Sophianna embraced Christopher, who smiled, content in the knowledge that his daughter would be happy.

Several months later, on December 16th, my second daughter, Virgina Phyllis Willits-Leohr, was born. Eden also had a son named Matthew. John and Sophianna have been in a relationship for some time now, and I am thrilled about it. However, they are unable to spend time at our home due to Christopher's overprotectiveness. As a result, they usually hang out at his place. I visit them to spend time with Eden and arrange playdates for the kids. During one of our visits, Eden inquires how things have been since the birth of my baby, I assure her that everything is going well, with only minor issues here and there. Eden, on the other hand, expresses that things are going smoothly with her baby, who only cries when he needs something, using different cries for different needs - a deep cry for a diaper change, a scream for food, and a regular cry for attention. I find this fascinating and mention that it's something I've never heard of before. Eden agrees, noting that it is quite rare.

After six months, I hosted a ball to celebrate the children of mine and Eden. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the ball. Are you enjoying yourselves?" The crowd cheered. "Excellent! Tonight, we have a special performance for you. A dear friend of mine will be singing for you. So, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my friend Heather, along with her sister and friend." (The music from Daughter of Discord begins playing in the background)

“Not sure when it started, not sure how it began, not sure why I’m longing, to feel you in my arms again. Don’t know why I’m speechless, when I look into your eye, or why my chest is beating, and I feel I can fly. I feel a connection, to which we harmonize, a bond that can’t be broken, though some may criticize, they say I’ve gone mad, descended periodically, because I fell for you, most chaotically. Opposites attract, but we couldn’t be more the same, they say you’re a monster, but I know you can be tamed. I feel a connection, to which we harmonize, a bond that can’t be broken, thought may criticize, they say I’ve gone mad, descended periodically, because I fell for you, most chaotically. (Instrumental Break) It’s like I’m falling faster, with every moment we spend, we’ll dance tonight and after, we’ll promise to be more than just friends! We have a connection, Let’s face it, we harmonize, our bond cannot be broken, who cares if they criticize? It’s true I’ve gone mad, descended periodically, because I fell for you, most chaotically. Because I fell for you, most chaotically.” Amid cheers of admiration, the crowd exclaimed, "That was truly amazing, well done, everyone! Now, it's the little ones' turn. Eden, Christopher?" Our children, Virginia Phyllis and Matthew, were warmly welcomed on stage as everyone cheered for them. Out of nowhere, lightning struck, and laughter followed, "HAHAHAHAHA!" Suddenly, a familiar voice interrupted, "Wait a minute, I know that voice! It's Amy!" I exclaimed. Amy appeared, questioning the uninvited presence at the party. Tension rose as I confronted my sister, urging her to leave. Amy, unfazed, conjured a fireball aimed at Claudia, but I intervened with a protective shield. As the smoke cleared, Amy realized her failed attempt. Asserting her authority as the elder sister and ruler of the kingdom, I emphasized that Amy could never have children due to her medical condition. The conversation turned to past grievances, with accusations and revelations about family dynamics. Amy's actions led to a magical confrontation, resulting in my apparent demise. However, a tear shed by Christopher brought me back to life. The conflict escalated, leading to a moment of reconciliation and forgiveness between Amy and me, marking a new chapter for our relationship.

A year later, we resumed our daily routines. Sophianna and John had graduated, and Eden's husband had returned for good. Amy surprised us by revealing she was pregnant with twins. Virginia and Matthew turned one year old, reminding us how quickly time passes. As we gathered at Amy and Ty's castle for a baby shower, we learned that Amy was eight months pregnant. The excitement escalated when Amy suddenly went into labor. With a touch of magic, we transported them to the hospital. After a few hours, the twins were born, and we visited them. Ty introduced us to Elizabeth Marie Hope Zebroff and Anthony James Zebroff, the adorable newborn twins. Amy's dream of having a family finally came true, and now, years later, John and Sophianna got married after finishing college, creating their own beautiful family. Virginia and Matthew are currently in a relationship, and there's a possibility of them getting married in the future. As for Christopher and me, we continue to live happily together, unable to imagine life without each other. All our dreams have been realized, and we wouldn't want it any other way.

And We All Lived Happily Ever After THE END
